Help us update our school that's existed since 1967. We are continuing to fix and update fences, gates, playground equipment and grounds, signs, windows, and interior and exterior buildings. We also need:
- Handyperson to build additional storage.
- Electrician who can assist with installing a new fire alarm system.
- Architect to help design our long-term future.

Ponderosa offers Infant (6 weeks to 1 year old), Toddler (1 to 2 years old), Early Childhood (2 to 6 years old), and Elementary (K to 5) Montessori curriculum, and serves Los Alamos County and the surrounding area.
Description
Ponderosa Montessori School provides loving, stimulating care and education for Infant, Pre-School, and Elementary (K-5), including fun, exciting Summer Programs. At Ponderosa Montessori School, you’ll find happy, kind children, busy on self-chosen, uninterrupted work.
The school has been in existence since 1967 and has a tremendous legacy of teaching the children of this community.
Ponderosa Montessori is an authentic Montessori-based school with Montessori-certified teachers in every classroom that provides a child-centered environment carefully designed to meet the learning styles and needs of the children. Montessori emphasizes learning through all five senses, not just through listening, watching, or reading.
