Dedicated and dependable volunteers are wanted to assist the Bereavement Department. Examples of tasks include: creating and closing bereavement charts, assisting with mailings and documentation, computer work, and phone calls.
Volunteers can help anytime Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are flexible and any help is greatly appreciated.

Gentiva Hospice (Formerly Kindred Hospice) is an agency with a commitment to people facing a life limiting illness and providing comfort and compassionate support for patients and their loved ones so they may experience the best possible quality of life. Gentiva Hospice serves Cook, Lake, McHenry, DeKalb, Kane and DuPage counties in both private residences and nursing facilities.
