The volunteer for this position needs to be knowledgeable about basic math(addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) as well as decimals, fractions, percents, measurements, algebra and geometry. Volunteer must be able to explain and demonstrate math concepts at the most basic level in an effort to assist the student in learning with the least amount of frustration and anxiety.
