    Working Together to Save Lives

    We invite you to join the Volunteer Team of Puget Sound Blood Center--an independent, non-profit, volunteer-supported regional resource for blood, tissue and specialized lab services. For over 50 years, the Blood Center has been serving counties throughout Western Washington. In addition to providing blood, we have many specialized programs. These include Bone Marrow, Apheresis (a special way to give platelets) and Northwest Tissue Services Donor Programs.

    As a Puget Sound Blood Center volunteer, you are joining an organization with 900 employees and about 2000 active volunteers. Through our blood center locations and community blood drives, approximately 800 donors give blood every weekday. Last year, more than 70,000 patients were helped with over 200,000 donations of blood given by volunteer donors. By volunteering your time, you are part of the life-saving link that delivers blood to patients in need. Take pride in knowing that your time is as vital to us as a blood donation. You will be contributing to your community in a very special way.
