Volunteers may support staff by acting as receptionists, cuddling babies, assisting in the Birthing Center, discharging patients,assisting the triage nurse in the Emergency Deparment and feeding patients. Volunteers assist patients and families by providing information and emotional support in critical care and surgery waiting rooms. Volunteers are also needed to staff the gift shop, assist with community lectures and make puppets and gifts for new Moms.
