Help catalog items related to Montgomery's history and enter them into a computer program. This may include photos, newspaper articles, clothing, household items and other memoriabilia. Accurately describing and recording the artifacts we have and where they are stored will help us when we gather items for various displays in our historic museum. This is a two-step process that involves creating a paper record and then entering into the computer, so people with no computer skills can assist with the first part and leave the rest to a person who is comfortable using a computer. Volunteers are also needed to interview long-time residents to record their memories, and to help design and set up museum displays. Volunteers ages 16 and up can participate, M-F 8-3:30.
