The Colorado Wind Ensemble is looking for volunteers to serve on our board of directors. The CWE produces a formal concert season, conducts educational outreach in Denver area schools, commissions new compositions, engages in several fund-raising projects, and participates in other activities on an ad hoc basis. To learn more about the CWE, please visit our website at www.coloradowindensemble.org.
The CWE board of directors meets monthly and manages the operational and administrative functions of the organization. All board members contribute financially to the ensemble. The CWE has a musical director/conductor who works closely with the board president to coordinate artistic and managerial aspects of the CWE's activities.
If you have time, energy, and/or expertise to devote to support activities for the CWE, including fundraising, audience development, marketing and publicity, or outreach, please contact Ellen Christianson, CWE president, at 303-394-4552 or at ellen@coloradowindensemble.org by April 30, 2015. Board member elections will take place on May 29, 2015.

The mission of the Colorado Wind Ensemble is to provide opportunities for musicians to create, and audiences to experience, exceptional performances of the unique and varied genres of music for woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

The Colorado Wind Ensemble performs concerts at various locations in the Denver metropolitan area and outreach to various schools. Locations include:
Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton 80120 (a suburb south of central Denver)
King Center for the Performing Arts, 855 Lawrence Way, Denver 80204 (on the Auraria campus near downtown Denver)
Elaine Wolf Theatre, 350 S. Dahlia St., Denver 80246 (in central Denver near Glendale)
Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Pkwy, Lakewood CO 80226 (a suburb west of central Denver)
