Compassionate end of life care. THA Group's non-profit hospice service, Island Hospice, is looking for volunteers in all of the communities we serve.

For those with a life-limiting illness, hospice is a special concept of care that provides comfort and support to clients and their families. Hospice care seeks to optimize the quality of life for the client.

Volunteer opportunities are as diverse and individual as you are! Choose from opportunities such as:

Patient and family support

Office/Administrative support

Memory Keeper program

Phone call support

Fundraising

Bereavement program

Skill and talent contributions (Massage therapy, hairdressing, pet therapy, light housework, cooking, etc.)

As a new volunteer you will receive special training to fully prepare you for your volunteer work. Our staff will coordinate and support your volunteer activities.
