ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Coach clients on developing Latte Art skills

Position Hours: Once a Quarter/1-2 hours Monday - Thursday

Café Hours: Between 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM or 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Requirements: Recent Barista experience and skill in Latte Art. Patience and an interest in improving the lives of persons from diverse backgrounds with Developmental Disabilities and/or other mental health conditions. Must have or be able to attain a food workers card (online) within one week of volunteering.

Minimum Age Requirement: 20

Duration: 1-2 sessions every 3 months for 6- 12 months

(Frequency may increase depending on individual’s availability and interest)

Assist with training participants of the Café Hope Espresso Stand, a pre-vocational training program that assist our clients in preparing for employment and/or seeking social skill building through providing customer service. Materials will be provided through the Café.

ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
