Mission Statement
The Frederick Symphony Orchestra mission is to be a highly respected and valued community arts organization which performs a broad range of music at the highest possible artisitic standard. The Orchestra is committed to enriching the cultural climate of Frederick, Maryland and its surrounding communities by providing opportunities for local musicians to perform and further develop their musicianship. The Orchestra serves the community through educational outreach, collaboration with other local organizations, and by fostering appreciation for orchestral music and the arts.
Description
The Frederick Symphony Orchestra is a community symphony composed of professional and amateur musicians from the local area. It performs a series of concerts each year which include major classical repertoire, pops, and chamber ensemble performances.
