Foster Homes: We are in desperate need of foster homes for both felines and at time, canines. Fostering is extremely rewarding and the backbone of our organization and our volunteers that foster are true heros. If you think you might be interested in becoming a foster home please let us know! The HSLC supplies the food and medical, and you supply the love and care!
Fund Raising: Our group survives and operates strictly on proceeds from donations and fund raisers and the Humane Society of Lincoln County understands how busy life can be. We also realize there are many people that want to help but just don't have the time. If this applies to you, consider doing a one time fund raiser to assist our group. Yard Sales, a Car Wash, A Paw Brokers Jewelry Party, Bake Sale, etc... is a great way to raise money for our cause. Another idea is organizing a drive to collect pet supplies. Our group is in great need of any of the following items: Canned Friskies Cat Food, Whiskas Cat Food, Fancy Feast canned cat food, Dry Pro-Plan cat food, Tidy Cat Clumping Cat litter, Fresh Step Clay cat litter, dog treats, dog rawhides and cleaning supplies such as Bleach, Tide, paper towels and plastic 13 gallon trash bags.
Toner Cartridge Program. Please consider donating your used toner cartridges to our group. We will recycle them for you, and in return receive points for each cartridge. We use the points to purchase much needed office supples and other important for our group.

Mission Statement
Rescue and find homes for abandoned/stray animals and animals scheduled for euthanisa at the local shelters, provide monetary help to aid low income citizens in the care of their personal pets, provide low cost spay and neuter sevices to the public and strive to educate the public in proper animal care so to some day prevent unwanted animals and animal abuse and cruelty.
Description
The Humane Society of Lincoln County is an all volunteer 501(c) 3 organization. We are very small at this time with only 25 very dedicate members. We have been in operation over 20 years. Our main goal is to reduce the number of unwanted animals born each month and to eliminate euthanisa at the local animal shelters thru the spay and neuter process. However, for the animals that are already here, we dedicate our spare time and homes to the rescue of and placement of these animals in loving homes through our pet adoption process. For citizens that want to keep their animals but feel they can't due to medical and food care expense, we offer a Public Assistance program to attend to their needs and to better educate the owners in proper animal care. We also feel education in animal care should start early so at every available invitation, we target the local schools for presentations and demonstrations on how to properly care for the animals.
