Our Service Dog Team training program is now becoming community inclusive. We are inviting community members who are not partnered with service dogs to be a part of learning, volunteering and partaking in events, education and assisting with the further development of our sustainable program.

The Volunteer Coordinator will connect with people who are interested in making a difference through supporting people with disabilities who are partnered with a service dog by providing training assistance, assisting and planning events, administrative assistance and people supporting the Program's needs.

• Team player Good communication skills: Patience and acceptance in working with people of various challenges. Phone and email communication Recruit and Manage non-profit volunteers. Public relations and presentations to small groups. Work closely with the Service Dog Trainer/Educator Director for scheduling, volunteer training and orientation.
• Writing: Writing volunteer position details for ads and fliers, position descriptions and volunteer manual editing and creation.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain documentation, records, online databases and reports. Schedule volunteer trainings and orientations. Plan meetings for volunteer support, socialization and sharing experiences
