St. John needs your help on food pantry days. In the last few months we have seen a large increase in the number of folks needing help with food. We need some friendly volunteer receptionists with excellent customer service skills to greet those who come to us for assistance. It's a chance to help hands on and a great learning experience. You can know that a family will have a meal that day because you were there to help. Volunteers register clients and check them into the database, a very simple process. Volunteers may also answer the phone, give referrals, and direct other visitors. Receptionists needed Mondays and Wednesdays, nine to noon. Flexible schedules. Every other week, weekly? We will be glad to work with you.
