ORGANIZATION: Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 50 people are interested

Compassus Hospice of Orange is looking for volunteers in two of our Trumbull locations. Our volunteers need to be interested in spending time with hospice patients providing companionship, understanding, and kindness to both patient and sometimes their families.
All volunteers must attend a hospice training program in our Orange office so that they feel better informed before heading out to spend time with our patients. We provide a detailed training on hospice care as we explain the roles of our clinical team, what to expect, and what you could do to help as our patients transition into their final journey. If you are compassionate and have some spare time, we would love to hear from you. Our program is flexible which tends to work for everyone. Please give us a call!
