Description

The Tanesha Marie Jones Christmas for Kids w/Cancer Fdn. provides children battling Cancer with a $100.00 giftcard to the store of his/her choice for Christmas. The Foundation was started in 2006 in Memory of Tanesha Marie Jones who very sadly lost her battle with Cancer at the age of Thirteen. This is my way of keeping my daughter's memory alive and honoring her wishes by helping other children with Cancer during such a difficult time in their life. The reasons we continue to help these courageous children battling Cancer are: Parents of Pediatric Cancer patients face many financial hardships up to and including loosing their jobs because of time off taking care of their sick child. Because of financial hardships many parents are unable to give their children an adequate Christmas, holiday, or birthday which causes extra strain on the parents. Therefore thru the foundation it is our mission to take away at least a portion of the burden from the parents by giving their child an extra special Christmas he/she deserves.
