As a volunteer team leader you will be assigned to manage the volunteer programs at a few of InnVision Shelter Network's shelter sites. The volunteer team leader is an essential part of the Shelter Network team and will provide support to both our shelter staff and our volunteer manager that will be invaluable.
Duties:
- Attend staff meetings to gauge the needs of the shelter for volunteers
- Be knowledgeable of the shelter (where things are, what supplies are available, safety procedures)
- Be knowledgeable of InnVision Shelter Network (how the overall program works, specific knowledge of shelter(s) assigned to, overview of other sites and programs)
- Coordinate the individual and group volunteer programs

LifeMoves is the largest provider of homeless shelter and services in Silicon Valley. Our region is known for innovation and prosperity, yet the housing crisis is forcing thousands of our neighbors throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties onto the streets.

With 26 shelter and service sites from Daly City to San José, we give our neighbors experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management through both shelter programs and community outreach.
