A hospice volunteer offers companionship, support, a helping hand. No matter who you are, you have something to offer hospice patients. You can make a profound difference in a person's life whether it is a 15 minute visit, writing letters, playing music, or just sitting quietly, holding a patient's hand. Volunteers play an integral role in Beacon Hospice's team approach to care that focuses on comfort, dignity and peace for the patient and their family. Volunteers must complete a comprehensive training program and receive on-going support. New trainings start regularly. For more information about this rewarding and life affirming experience please contact Adreana Krukowski, 978.837.3333 or adreana.krukowski@amedisys.com. Flexible schedule to meet your availability. We care for patients throughout Essex and Middlesex county(Salisbury, Amesbury, Merrimac, Haverhill, Methuen, Lawrence, Andover, North Andover, Dracut, Lowell, Billerica, Westford, and Chelmsford).
