Join us on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 7AM until 12 noon at Sprenger Stadium, Avon - HOME RUN FOR THE HOMELESS,
Neighborhood Alliance HOME RUN FOR THE HOMELESS, 1 Mile Family Fun Walk & 5k Run to benefit the HAVEN CENTER, Lorain County's only 24 hour, year round emergency homeless shelter for men, women and children.
Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Sprenger Stadium, Avon
Form a team or volunteer at the event.Numerous volunteer positions available for individuals and groups, great for families!
Volunteer Positions available:
Registration: register and / or check in walkers & Runners.
Information: welcome and direct the public
1 Mile: stationed on course, cheer on walkers, offer water & assistance as needed
5k: stationed on course, cheer on runners, direct as needed, offer water & assistance as needed
Snacks: assist with handing out post-race snacks to walkers, runners, volunteers
Water: assist with handing out water to walkers, runners, volunteers

Neighborhood Alliance has been compassionately caring for the community since 1927. We are helping our community grow stronger by caring for our clients' most basic needs. We provide emergency shelter, daily meal delivery and nutrition services for seniors, childcare and child enrichment programs, access to wellness programs such as Help Me Grow for those in need. We are empowering the people of our community with the tools to create a better life for themselves. With our inspired mission of strengthening neighborhoods, we continue to expand programs and services to address the diverse and changing needs of families and individuals in Northeast Ohio. We offer the community: Shelter & Emergency Services- Lorain County's only 24 hour, year round emergency homeless shelter with support programs & services to assist families, men, women. Child Enrichment Services- childcare for infants to school-aged for before and after-school programs + summer camp. FamilyEnrichment Services - In-home parenting education, support, program referral & developmental screenings for newborns to 3 years of age. Senior Enrichment Services provide hot home delivered meals and activities for seniors to stay engaged and remain social.
