Real Medicine Foundation is doing an event at the L.A. Marathon. If you wanted to donate to earthquake victims in Haiti, tsunami victims in Sri Lanka, homeless people in Los Angeles, but didn't have the cash, now's your chance to contribute.
There are several ways to get involved:
1. We are in great need of students, enthusiasts and professionals of photography who are willing to donate prints related to the idea of "friends helping friends" and the overarching themes of world health and betterment (i.e. kids in school, people getting help or medical aid, shelters being built, supplying fresh water or food, etc.). Your artwork will be displayed tastefully and be seen by thousands of people.
2. If you've got something to say about poverty, healthcare, education, etc. for the less fortunate in places like Myanmar, Peru, Mexico, India, we're looking for storyboards that express your opinion or that depict the above issues.
3. If you have a catering uniform or formal attire (i.e. cocktail dress, prom dress, tuxedo, suit) and you're not afraid to wear it in front of thousands of people, we need you!
Real Medicine Foundation is providing aid in the following countries: Peru, Myanmar (Burma), Armenia, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Haiti, USA, Mexico, Turks and Caicos Islands, Kenya, Mazambique, Nigeria, Sudan, Uganda.
