C&O Canal Pride Days is the largest volunteer event in the C&O Canal National Historic Park, and this year is looking to be the best yet. The event is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people and participate in the national spirit of unity and service. Together we can show pride for our national park while raising awareness of its ongoing stewardship needs. With your help, C&O Canal Pride Days can mark the beginning of a lasting relationship between yourself, the C&O Canal, and our future.

Projects at Williamsport include:
- Painting the aqueduct railing
- Filling potholes
- Planting trees upstream from Lock 44
- Clearing vegetation
- Pulling invasive species
- Painting signs
