Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice (RAVNAH) is in need of compassionate and caring volunteers to fill a need in their hospice program.
In the home, hospital and nursing facilities, hospice and palliative care volunteers provide support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. The comprehensive volunteer training includes an introduction to hospice and palliative care, education on death, dying and grief, and the development of communication and support skills.
