Please join the American Diabetes Association as we continue the fight to Stop Diabetes. Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes is a one-day, high-energy fundraising walk held in more than 200 cities nationwide each year to raise funds for research, advocacy and education efforts to stop type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes - in Nebraska and across the United States. The Nebraska/Western Iowa Step Out logistics and planning committee is seeking energetic, organized and committed volunteers to serve in a leadership role, guiding the directon of the 2015 Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes. Members selected for this committee will commit to attending one-hour monthly meetings. Committee members should also be prepared for 2-5 hours of volunteer service per week to help recruit participant fundraisers and secure prizes for the walk taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2015.
