Mission Statement
Haiti Relief Fund Inc. was originally created in 2004 when Hurricane Jeanne devasted Gonaives and today we have been called to action once again to help the millions of earthquake victims. Haiti is currently experiencing one of the greatest tragedies of our time. The site of the current situation will require a complete rebuilding.
Haiti was already was the poorest country in the world before the 2010 earthquake, multiple hurricanes in 2009 and hurricane Jeanne in 2004, with its entire people living in extreme poverty. The social, political, and environmental problems are fundamentally complex and stand the greatest challenges that all Haitians in Haiti and abroad are facing today and tomorrow.
For these complex reasons Haiti Relief Fund Inc. was established to serve as a humanitarian organization to benefit the residents of Haiti.
Description
Haiti Relief Fund's goal is to solicit, collect, and otherwise raise funds to provide disaster relief; to collect and distribute medical supplies, food, clothing and other necessary items; to aid and assist exclusively the residents of Haiti and organizations doing humanitarian work in Haiti.
Haiti Relief Fund Inc. has been set to serve toward a long term strategy, and it is time for all Haitians and the international community to come together and address the inhumane conditions of the poor people of Haiti.
