Founded in 1983, Aid for AIDS (AFA) provides financial assistance to women, men, and children with HIV/AIDS, who are living below the poverty line. AFA's goals are to prevent homelessness and hunger. The Serra Project group homes and housing assistance date to 1987. The mission of the two organizations succinctly states their focus: To provide the basic necessities of life to men, women, children, and families living with HIV/AIDS through a safety net of essential housing and direct supportive services.

We are currently in the middle of preparing one of our annual fundraisers and we need volunteers to help us make some phone calls and distribute promotional materials to participating venues.

Our office is open from 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday and you can help us make calls anytime through our business hours. It would be wonderful if you can dedicate at least 2-3hours per day.
