Description

The News Cadet volunteers areon the front line of the LAMC Communications strategy. As directed by the Public Affairs team, the News Cadets will write, research, and develop approved news pieces for the LAMC Communication tools and distribute a range of publications to the medical center physicians and employees. The News Cadets will adopt a grass roots approach to disseminating communication tools by distributing them throughout the LAMC campus, including offsite medical office buildings.

Hours: 8 AM - Noon, 4 - 8 pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Skills

  • English Language Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written English language skills (bilingual always preferred)
  • Customer Service Skills: Must be outgoing and able to approach persons with kindess, genuineness and politeness
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible with schedule and duties as these change daily
