Everyone will enjoy volutneering at this event!

There are two volunteer shifts available:

9:30am - 1:30pm and 1:00 - 4:30pm

Volunteer Jobs:

Arts & Crafts

Assist children with various arts & craft projects

Greeter

Stationed at the front door, each greeter will welcome people into the Celtic Fest. They will also use a counter to keep attendance and assist people with information about the activities available at the Celtic Fest.

Performer Host

Greet performers as they enter the performer lounge and oversee the area.

Event Description:

The 12th Annual Celtic Festival is a celebration of the rich culture of the seven Celtic Nations featuring the intriguing history, arts and traditions of Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Enjoy lyrical Celtic music played by great bands from the community and region. Watch dancers' impressive footwork. The festival features entertainment stages, several presentations about folk traditions of the past and present, activities booths and Celtic foods.
Co-sponsored by Fargo Park District and Moorhead Parks and Recreation.

Seven Celtic Nations: Brittany (France), Cornwall (UK), Isle of Man, Galicia (Spain),
Ireland (Northern = UK), Scotland (UK), Wales (UK)

We get about 2,000 people or so at the event so we are looking for quite a few volunteers to help. Hope you will consider helping out this year.

We full fill our mission by planning and preparing hundreds of events for our community to come and enjoy with family and friends. Many of our events consist of entertainment, crafts, informational booths, games, and more. We rely a lot on volunteers to make these events happen for the community. Community events wouldn't be the same without our volunteers!
