With today's technologies changing daily, do you "know everything there is about the new technologies", i.e., tablets, phones, social media? Think you can share that information with a senior individual or individuals who REALLY want to know how to turn the unit on/off, type, connect to the Internet, Skype, FaceTime, FaceBook, and other connectivity-type technologies? This is the place for you to bring your talents to do one-on-one technology appointments! WCCOA hosts sites in Wood County at Bowling Green, North Baltimore, Northeast (Walbridge), Pemberville, Perrysburg, Rossford, and Wayne with their own needs. Two (2) hours, face-to-face, hands-on per week would be awesome! Come on! Give it your best shot!

The Social Services Department is a major information and referral service with regards to health issues for seniors, living wills, nursing home referrals, home heating help, and a myriad of other senior needs, including a Durable Medical Equipment loan closet.
The Program Department hosts offerings on everything from the educational (health and other programs); fitness classes (Yoga, water Yoga, Circuit Training, Matter of Balance, etc.) including Evidence-based classes like Delay the Disease, useful for those with Parkinson's; cognitive (Memory for Life); technology classes (computers, phones, Kindles, androids, etc.); and social gatherings (mystery dinners, Knitters Guild), and art programs.
Our Agency partners with Bowling Green State University and other local institutes of higher learning for Nutrition, Gerontology, Technology, Nursing and Social Service classes as well as local businesses, intergenerational programs, and local nursing agencies.
