Come join fellow Strawberry Creek enthusiasts in removing invasive ivy (and other non-native invasives) from the UC Berkeley Natural Areas.
Where? Right here on the UC Berkeley Campus!
Meet in the Grinnell Natural Area at the staue of the Rugby players near the Southwest corner of VLSB (at the bottom of the lawn, near where the pedestrain path meets the road).
We provide the gloves and tools, you provide the muscle and sweat!

Preserve, protect, and restore the portions of Strawberry Creek and riparian habitat owned and maintained by the University of California, Berkeley.
Promote the Creek and watershed as a place of learning, research, recreation, and relaxation for all members of the community.
Description
The Strawberry Creek Restoration Program engages in active restoration of the Campus portions of Strawberry Creek (Berkeley, CA). Our primary work consists invasive plant removal and control and the re-planting of cleared areas with locally native species to both restore biodiversity and beauty to the Creek.
The Program also conducts training in restoration techniques to promote leadership in future generations of habitat restoration volunteers and professionals.
