MLK Day: Save Trees in Rock Creek Park

Join Friends of Rock Creek's Environment, the Embassy of Belgium, the National Park Service, and park neighbors to cut English ivy that is strangling trees in the Normsnstone section of Rock Creek Park. We will train you to identify and safelly remove this inavsive vine. Meet at the rear parking lot of the Embassy of Belgium at 3330 Garfield Street NW, Washinfton, DC. Please bring loppers, pruners, and pruning saws, if you have them. We will have tools, but more are better! Dress for the weather. and look forward to tasty refreshments donated by Open City.
