Volunteer at the AccentCare Hospice Inpatient Center in Wauwatosa as a front desk assistant!
Activities include answering phone calls, taking temperatures assisting with completing COVID screenings and greeting the families of patients. There may be additional administrative tasks if you feel comfortable.
We are in need of evenings during the week and all day on the weekend.

Description
Hospice is a vision of caring that gives patients with terminal illness choices about how they spend the last days of their lives. Volunteers fill a unique roll in supporting the patient and family as they are the one member of the team whose role is to simply be there for them-- no poking or prodding, no giving medicines or taking temperatures-- the volunteer is there to provide a comforting presence and practical support.
