Mission Statement
Provide inner city children who are living in at risk situations with meaningful work ethic alternatives to gangs, drugs and the streets. Use adult & youth mentors to develop & nurture relationships with our the children.
Description
Community Bike Works provides a series of longitudinal work ethic programs. Children may participate in the following: Earn A Bike Program (10 weeks), One on One Tutoring, Reading program, Teen group, Youth Volunteer and Youth Apprentices. The key to our success has been a strict 2 youths per 1 adult ratio which nurtures relationships.
