Up On Top, a free after school and summer program for elementary school kids in the Tenderloin and Western Addition neighborhoods, is recruiting Board members. Human Resources or San Francisco School District experience sought.
Up On Top's mission is to offer hope, stability, and fun to children of low-income families in San Francisco, enabling them to be successful in school and in life. We support this mission by offering our children a well-rounded curriculum including homework support, academic tutoring and enrichment, science, leadership classes, field trips and the arts, all of which support academic success and healthy development.

Description
UP ON TOP has 2 after-school sites, providing free after-school and full-time summer care opportunities. Our well-rounded curriculum includes homework support, tutoring and academic enrichment, literacy development, language arts, drama, music, art, cooking, science, field trips, swimming lessons and free play.
