We need volunteers to do the following kinds of activities: play with and exercise dogs, play with our cats, clean cat cages, clean the office, mow and weedeat the lawn, take animals to the vet, foster kittens or puppies in your home, organize fundraisers, help with fundraising.

Description
The Franklin County Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded to provide temporary shelter and care for homeless and lost dogs and cats, to find permanent loving homes for these animals, to reduce pet overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering, to prevent cruelty to animals, and to educate the community about animal welfare. We operate Animal Harbor, a no-kill shelter.
