Community Cats Maryland is dedicated to helping Baltimore City residents practice trap-neuter-return, a humane method of population control for feral/outdoor cats. TNR is a process by which feral cats are trapped in humane box traps, spayed/neutered and vaccinated at special clinics, and then returned to their outdoor homes to live out their lives under the watchful eyes of their human caretakers. Oftentimes, however, we encounter very friendly cats living on the streets who were obviously former pets, but either got lost or were abandoned.
