The Florida State Attorney's office is looking for volunteers to advocate for victims of crime. The following volunteer positions available:
- Victim Witness Coordinator: Work closely with prosecutors, assist in locating and making calls to victims to ensure that they report for their court hearings and have information about their cases.
- Victim Advocate: Assist victims of domestic violence by providing them with appropriate information and resources.
Background checks are required, and Parking is provided.
Age requirement: 55-65 yrs old

Description
Growing older has its rewards. One of the finest is Your Aging Resource Center.
Staffed by a corps of trusted, compassionate, professional specialists, the Elder Helpline helps seniors and their caregivers find answers and make informed decisions. Specialists are able to help in English, Spanish and Creole. Services are available to the entire community seeking answers on aging or looking for service providers.
Through Senior Volunteer Programs Your Aging Resource Center engages seniors in community service and civic engagement activities in a myriad of volunteer opportunities.
We are always recruiting volunteers to:
- mentor/tutor youth
- help seniors live a healthy lifestyle
- provide caregiver support
- serve as Foster Grandparents
- serve as SHINE counselors
- serve as Senior Advocates
- become Healthy Living Trainers
Volunteers
- strengthen communities
- improve the lives of others
- connect to others, and
- transform their own lives!
And most importantly: Volunteers live longer!
