The Vigil Volunteer program was created to provide a loving presence to patients who would otherwise die alone. While this continues to be the main focus of the program, it has expanded to provide support to patients receiving continuous care or inpatient care. Vigil volunteers provide a reassuring presence at a patient's bedside allowing respite to family members during this difficult time.

We are committed to providing comfort of mind, body and spirit. Our specially trained staff helps manage pain and symptoms, thereby enabling patients to live their lives as fully as possible. In addition, our team members create a comforting environment and provide emotional support to families who need help coping with the loss of a loved one.
