Every winter the Americana Community Center hosts the Winter Festival, which helps almost 500 participants. This is a great event that gives toys, scarves, and hats to participants in need. The Americana Community Center serves 5,000 immigrants, refugees, and low-income families in Louisville, annually. We currently represent 37 zip codes, and 98 countries.
To meet the need of the community, we need YOUR help to collect enough toys, scarves, and hats. Does your club want to do a drive? Does your school want to help a good cause? This is the volunteer opportunity for you!

Description
The Americana Community Center is located in the South End of Louisville. The South End has a large concentration of varied ethnic groups, with 26 different languages spoken. The Americana Community Center exists to be responsive to the needs of the diverse community by providing language and family based services to refugees, immigrants and other U.S. born citizens.
