Do you want to help people from around the world improve their English? Teach a conversation class for the Glendale Library Adult Literacy Program. Conversation classes include five to ten students and are taught in English. No prior teaching experience is necessary. Tutors receive free training and materials. A commitment to teach one two-hour Conversation Class per week for six months is expected of all tutors.

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
