Assist adults who are learning to read or adults who are learning conversational English. Volunteers are paired with learners and usually work one-on-one. The library provides training both for literacy tutoring and for teaching English to speakers of other languages. Volunteers are needed at the Central Library and some branches.

Description
The Fulton County Library System is the largest library system in the state of Georgia. Volunteers serve at all 34 locations. The System provides a variety of literacy and community information services and programs for citizens in and around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. These services include, but are not limited to: providing audio, visual and print media for check-out by registered patrons; providing programming that reflects the diverse interests of area residents and visitors, and providing meeting areas for community discussion and interaction.
