Before I started helping, she rationed her food, literally counting Cheerios and putting them in plastic bags for each day to insure she wouldn't run out. Having a volunteer provide her with a reliable shopping schedule allows her to eat regularly and regain her health, (7 pounds). --John Baycich, volunteer
Help promote positive aging and independent living by providing "door through door" transportation for low-income 60 population in Delaware County to medical appointments, the grocery store or other necessary errands. Or, offer to go grocery "list shopping" for a homebound senior neighbor.
