The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is seeking volunteers who would like to run the cash register for a particular shift each week.

Please contact us for a list a available shifts and discuss which one you would like to fill. Shifts are generally from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6 pm

The ReStore is a discount home improvement center where new and gently used appliances, furniture and building materials are donated and then resold to the public for much less than the market value. All of the proceeds go towards building housing in partnership with those in need in eastern Connecticut through the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut.

Description

Organized in 1987, Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut (HFHECT) has constructed or rehabilitated 70 homes in our area using volunteer labor and donated building material or material purchased with donated funds. The affiliate's financial backing comes from private citizens, foundations, corporations, and area churches. Future homeowners work side by side with volunteers from the community.
