Volunteer HIV Educator

Minnesota AIDS Project

Volunteer educators provide in-person, group-level trainings that educate employers, educators, service organizations, and civic groups who work with those affected by HIV. They also assist with tabling events and other special opportunities. To become a Volunteer HIV Educator you must complete a MAP-Red Cross Instructor Training or have a current Red Cross HIV Instructor certification.

MAP is the local authorized provider for American Red Cross HIV Instructor trainings. In order to become a Red Cross-certified HIV Instructor, you must complete this two-day course. Those wishing to continue as volunteer HIV educators for MAP will receive information on next steps to do so....
