TITLE: Executive Director, National Grants
REPORTS TO: Founder & CEO

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop grant proposals
- Review drafts of proposals, including project narratives, budget, and other supporting documentation, in a timely manner to meet grant application deadlines
- Develop new funding opportunities;
- Assist in searches for grant opportunities and the proposal development proposal
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and editing grant proposals
- Assists in monitoring the completing key program tasks in a timely manner
- Assists in the coordination of collection, entry, and analysis of data
- Performs other duties as assigned by Founder & CEO
General:
- Provide input to the leadership team and be a role model of the values and leadership responsibilities of DFS
- Work with leadership in determining and implementing program outcomes, targets, milestones, and action steps, and in documenting progress toward achieving meaningful results on an annual basis.
- Exhibit high integrity and stewardship of the organization's resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher required.
- Knowledge of grants development, proposals, applications and administration
- Project Facilitation and management skills
- Research skills
- Ability to operate personal computer and maintain confidentially
- Ability to organize materials and to schedule time efficiently.
- Work Hours: 5 hours a week (virtual volunteer)
