Our Daily Bread is Maryland's largest hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to the hungry of Baltimore City each year. We serve nutritious lunches every day of the year and breakfasts to seniors and individuals with disabilities each weekday. We are always in need of groups to organize Food Drives. These are items that we use on a regular basis:

Wish Lists for Our Daily Bread Employment Center

• sugar (we use three tons per year)
• teabags with strings (we make 90 gallons a day)
• sandwich-size ziplock bags and brown lunch bags
• napkins
• paper towels
• toilet paper
• dish detergent
• salt and pepper
• family-size frozen macaroni and cheese casseroles
• large cans of vegetables
• large cans of spaghetti sauce
• 25lb. bags of rice, and large quantities of pasta
• ketchup/mustard/mayonnaise/salad dressing/cooking spray
• peanut butter & jelly

For Breakfast Program

• cold cereal
• oatmeal
• ground coffee

For Canned Food Distribution

• canned fruits/vegetables
• canned meats/tuna
• canned soup
• pasta noodles/rice
• spaghetti sauce
• instant mashed potatoes, gravy mix
• any dry food product
• any small food product you use in your kitchen

• bedding (twin sheets, pillows, pillow cases, and blankets)
• shower shoes (flip flops)
• boxer briefs (36,38,40)
• undershirts (L, XL,XXL)
• dress socks and white socks
• men's shirts (large sizes)
• personal hygiene and toiletry products
• books for adults
• men's shoes- new, very gently used dress, casual and athletic

Monthly commitments from businesses, faith based organizations, and/or groups to provide dinner for 60 men, and/or two to three volunteers to serve the meal are also needed.

Our address is 725 Fallsway, Baltimore, MD 21202. Deliveries are accepted seven days a week between 8am and 3pm at the rear delivery entrance at the back of our building in the parking lot. Simply push the button at the gated entrance then drive up to the delivery door on the left. Push button at door for assistance to unload.

For very large deliveries, or if you are unsure of an item to deliver, please call 443-986-9031. Otherwise there is no need to call ahead.
