ORGANIZATION: The Purr-fect Cat Shelter

Support the Purr-fect Cat Shelter in the comfort of your own home! PCS is looking for cat lovers to become foster parents. The Foster Care Program provides additional cage space beyond that available in the shelter. Cats needing socialization, pregnant or nursing cats and their kittens are some of the candidates for foster care.

If you have the space in your home for a Cat Condo or a spare room to house a PCS cat and can provide the daily attention needed, this program is for you! Enjoy the fulfillment of being a foster care parent at your own pace! For a Foster Care Application Form, click here.


The purpose of the Purr-fect Cat Shelter Foster Care Program is to:
  • Provide additional cage space for potentially adoptable cats.
  • Provide a more suitable environment for pregnant or nursing cat and kittens.
  • Provide temporary care for convalescent cats or
  • Provide temporary care for cats requiring socialization. Please note: you must be from one of the towns that we serve (Medway, Millis, Norfolk, Franklin, Walpole and Bellingham, Massachusetts) in order to volunteer for this position.

Description

The Purr-fect Cat Shelter (PCS) is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer organization. It was established to provide temporary shelter and care for cats, with the ultimate goal of finding permanent homes for each cat. Cats accepted into the shelter stay as long as it is necessary. No cat will be destroyed because it has run out of time to find a home.
