We are seeking Professional Advisory Committee members to provide guidance in speciality areas such as home health care, social services, senior care, Medicaid, quality assurance, fundraising, information technology, financial, legal, program development, building maintenance. Our immediate desire is to have six to eight members on the professional advisory committee that would meet one to two times per year and be available for consultation by telephone as needed. Educational and professional experience in the speciality areas listed is preferred.

To provide in home assistance and caregiver support services enabling families and individuals to remain safe at home.
Description
Project Cheer offers supportive services to senior citizens who are minimally disabled and wish to retain as much independence as possible. Trained Cheer aides visit clients weekly to help with tasks such as shopping, errands and laundry. Often, having this type of assistance is all that is needed to allow an elderly person the ability to continue to remain in his or her own home. Currently using paid workers with several volunteer aides, the agency is looking to expand the volunteer component, to reduce the 80 person wait list.
