The resale shop "A Second Thought" specializes in women's, men's, and children's clothes, as well as household items. The shop is in need of volunteers to help sort through donated items and interact with shoppers. Additionally, volunteers are needed to help keep the shop clean with sweeping the floors, wiping down counters, cleaning the restroom, and more.
Each year employees of Heritage Christian Services travel to Chimaltenango, Guatemala, to repair and distribute wheelchairs to those in need. Proceeds from "A Second Thought" help fund this mission. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity and requires a weekly or semi-weekly schedule. Training will be done on site. Volunteers need to be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. and work in a fast pace environment. Come and join in on this wonderful volunteer opportunity.

Heritage Christian Services offers residential support, service coordination, respite, community habilitation and employment supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities .
