The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. In conjunction with its partner, Farmers Insurance Group, the March of Dimes is establishing a Disaster Response Task Force to respond to disasters across the United States in an effort to meet the special needs of babies and their families in times of crisis.
Disaster Response Task Force members will be deployed to the location of a disaster or disaster response efforts where they will be stationed with Farmers' personnel and their Customer Care Vehicles and Mobile Catastrophe Claims Centers to provide useful information and materials to pregnant women, babies and their families that have been affected by a disaster.
As a member of the Disaster Response Task Force, you will help our smallest and most vulnerable citizens and families in need.
To prepare for any eventuality, the March of Dimes will provide complete training and logistical support. You will be doing an invaluable service to those most in need.
