Prepare Federal and Minnesota state income tax returns for low to moderate income Minnesotans. Learn federal and state tax law with an emphasis on refundable tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) the largest anti-poverty program in America. Training is provided. No previous professional tax prep experience is needed. Thorough training provided by experienced tax preparers Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 5-9pm Or Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm One tax session per week commitment required. Volunteer opportunity goes from January 18th through April 15th and volunteers are asked to make at least a one tax session per week commitment.
