learning together

The Adult Literacy Program at the National City Public Library is currently seeking bright, motivated Volunteer Literacy Tutors.

Our program offers adults in the community a chance to improve skills in reading, writing, spelling, or math. We provide training, materials, and a safe space for learning.

Adults who lack basic literacy skills may have trouble finding meaningful work, helping their kids succeed in school, or obtaining health information. You can make a real difference in someone's life by becoming a Volunteer Literacy Tutor!
